Our course will provide you with all the knowledge and skills you will require to conduct a wide range of investigations.
Outcomes
On successful completion of this course, participants may apply to the Department of Fair Trading (Qld) for a Class 1 Security Providers Licence (Private Investigator). For students already possessing a Class 1 Security Providers Licence, the Private Investigator function may be added to their existing licence on application to the Department of Fair Trading (Qld). Opportunities include employment in private investigations, insurance fraud investigations and many other fields.

Course Duration
The course consists of a self-paced study component and a classroom training component.
Students have 12 months from the date of their enrolment to complete both components of the course.

Prerequisites
There are no prerequisite study units required for this course. Students should ensure that they are aware of the licencing requirements, such as age restrictions and disqualifying offences.

Qualifications
Upon successful completion of this course, you will attain the nationally recognised Australian qualification
of CPP30607 Certificate III in Investigative Services.
